Frye Island Wedding | Maine Wedding Photographers

Chrissy and Alex had a sweet and intimate Frye Island wedding, Thursday, August 8, 2017. Yes, this wedding was mid-week, on an island in Sebago Lake, Maine! Modern car ferries shuttle cars and their passengers on a virtually non-stop basis to and from the mainland and island, a fully incorporated town of its own standing. Chrissy and Alex invited those family and friends that are nearest and dearest to them. This resulted in a day that was relaxed, family-oriented, and truly very special.

Chrissy planned a 1920s vintage-themed wedding, complete with a lace-covered, long wedding dress, with cathedral-length veil. She was just gorgeous! The bridesmaids wore short dresses in a beautiful dusty rose color. The men were vey dapper in their three-piece suits, with bow ties, and wool caps. At the reception, the Hadacol Bouncers, a swing band, played music from the ’20s. It was such a fun and uniquely beautiful day!

During our time with Chrissy and Alex, we took them to a few beaches along the perimeter of the surprisingly fairly big island to get the local flavor. Everywhere we turned there were beautiful beaches, blue water, mountains in the distance, and fluffy white clouds in the sky. It was so gorgeous and so idyllic! Take a look for yourselves in our favorite photos of Chrissy and Alex’s Frye Island wedding.
