Nonantum Resort Wedding

Audrey and Chris are those types of people that soon after you meet, you feel like you’ve known them forever. They are so much fun, as well as funny, nice, super sweet, witty, easy to talk to, and so much more! We totally fell in love with this awesome couple and were so honored when they chose us to photograph their Nonantum Resort wedding! Theirs was a gorgeous day on the coast of Maine. Enjoy their wedding day with our photos!

Audrey and Chris’s Nonantum Resort Wedding Day:

Jessica Candage puts the finishing touches on Audrey’s hair, with help from Alistair, Chris and Audrey’s dog, below.

Chris is from Glasgow, Scotland, so of course there were kilts! Below.

Audrey is an Episcopal priest, and we were thrilled when she chose St. Ann’s Episcopal Church for the wedding ceremony. The small stone church, perched on the ocean is just gorgeous inside and out…and the location is stunning. Below.

Audrey’s officiant, a fellow Episcopal priest and close friend Rev. Jon Strand, provides support as Audrey wipes a few tears of joy and nervousness just moments before she walked up the aisle.  

Audrey’s grandfather walked her down the aisle, and did his job perfectly.  

Just prior to the ending of the service inside, all’s quiet outside this iconic church that overlooks the vast Atlantic Ocean.

Audrey and Chris hired the Sanford Bowl-A-Rama bowling bus to shuttle guests and the bridal party back and forth between The Nonantum Resort and St. Ann’s. Below. So much fun!!

If you look closely, the cake topper below includes a cleric collar on the bride lobster, and a kilt on the groom lobster. If you look a bit closer, and you’ll see an adorable icing model of Alistair the dog! A beautiful and creative cake from Let Them Eat Cake!
