Outstanding Wedding Pictures Countdown | 26 & 25 | The Top 50 Images of 2015

Churches set the theme for our outstanding wedding pictures countdown today, though it wasn’t specifically planned to happen that way. Nashua New Hampshire in the top photo, and Portland, Maine in the bottom photo.

Today is December 13, 2015 and it is time for our #26 and #25 outstanding wedding pictures!Outstanding wedding pictures countdown, top 50 images of 2015Outstanding wedding pictures countdown, #26, Colleen and Chris

#26
We’re always looking for architectural symmetry, doorways, skies, clouds, light, and when we find these things all together (you’ll see this theme re-appear again in this countdown, that is a promise!) at the very place where a couple just was married, well, it couldn’t be any more fitting than that. The dooryard at St. Aloysius of Gonzaga Parish in Nashua, NH in this photo has cleared of hundreds of exiting guests at Colleen and Chris’ September wedding, just a perfect moment before being whisked away by limo to their reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This image exemplifies one of our ‘signature styles’ inasmuch as we feature our couple as a very small, yet distinguishable, element admit a very expansive, wide scene that places them in a special location. Colleen and Chris’ Nashua New Hampshire wedding is here if you want to take a closer look!

#25
Our #25 image has lots in common with our #28 image that was seen just yesterday.  It’s black and white, taken by Liz, is in a church, includes someone in the wedding party, and involves a bench. At Angela and Tom’s very beautiful August wedding in Portland, Maine, the cute little flower girl had pretty much run out of steam after doing her processional duties just perfectly fine.  This bench halfway back in the main church at St. Luke’s Episcopal Cathedral formed the perfect place to stretch right out and catch a quick nap as she’s watched carefully.  We’re inspired and touched by moments like this, and it’s these offbeat and offside moments that form such an important supplement to the more expected classic shots that we still get courtesy of two full time photographers. We love these moments.
