Here we are, in the Top 10 of the year.. the best of the best of our lovely wedding photos — we’ll be counting down just one photo per day starting now until we reach #1 on December 30.

It’s going to be hard to not start all the remaining posts with “we really just love this photo!” because, well, that is for sure the case not just with the Top10 but all the images you’ve been seeing in this countdown…not to mention all the others our couples received from all the year’s weddings. This is Emily and Todd at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine on their September wedding day. Struck by the lofty pines, their shadows, and the quietness of the location, we had the couple carefully position into that perfect spot where the light was just right. We love shooting into the sun and using our techniques to still render great skin tones on our brides and grooms, and this day and location, and this wonderful couple, let us put it all to practice. We’re proud that this is #10 of our Top Lovely Wedding Photos of 2015!
