We just ask that if you don't purchase our archiving that you make several backup copies of your photos in various places to keep the images safe and to avoid potentially high costs should a replacement set be unexpectedly needed for any reason. And, relative to file size, if you only will make small prints (8"x10" and smaller), there is no immediate benefit to upgrade to the ultra-HD file set.
