2012’s TOP MOMENTS | FAVORITE WEDDING IMAGES | PART TWO | MAINE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Maine Wedding Photographers Favorite Images

August 2012 found us at a wonderful backyard wedding reception in Boothbay, Maine.  On the way, we obtained permission to stop at this most wonderful vintage replica gas station, replete with street signs, and one very happy couple, Kristi and Michael.

In downtown York Harbor, Maine, one of Maine’s prettiest tourist-oriented towns, Molly and Andy stop for sweet treat on a very sweet mid-week wedding in June, 2012.

Kristi and Michael stop for a quiet kiss just prior to entering their wedding reception at the bride’s parent’s home in Boothbay, Maine in August 2012.

Colleen and Andrew gave us time in November to stop at the breakwater in Kennebunkport, Maine with their wedding attendants.  We love evening light, wide angle shots, and the creativity that happens when we have all the ingredients for turning a “picture” into a creative and artistic “photograph”.  We love being Maine wedding photographers!

Molly and Andy (two above) and Collen (above) in vintage-looking images on their respective wedding days.  Vintage looks, done right, are timeless.  Elegant Maine wedding venues like the Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport give us the start to images like Colleen’s; our capture and post-processing takes it the rest of the way.

In this four-image montage, we feature selections where the bride and groom are artfully, creatively melding with their environment and are intentionally, while for certain the key and essentially only real subject, a small part of the frame.  This gives our Maine wedding photography a feel for the environment.   The top image of this collage was actually not in Maine but rather in stunningly beautiful Lake Como, Italy.  Our work as wedding photographers in Maine and Italy affords us wonderful opportunities for making exceptional memories for our couples and their families as well as future generations.

moments at Maine wedding photographs“Moments” are candid, journalistic captures and generally are fun, funny, touching, and create some of the best components toward the lifetime of memories we, as wedding photographers in Maine, love to create.  Here, a bridesmaid tucks her lipstick into a convenient location; a male guest at a wedding captures a dropped tossed bouquet; and a young guest take a few moments of needed rest prior to dinner at the reception.
